At such moments TinEye comes in handy. That is a search engine of Idée Inc. who goes in search of the origin of images. The principle is simple: you load the photo or drawing in question to the site and TinEye searches the nearly 3 billion images that have already been mapped to corresponding images on the web. So as a result you get a list of websites on which that image appears, and you can check the source and attribution.
TinEye works with extensions JPG, PNG and POISON. Every month millions of photos in their database. You do not need to register to use. Service You're really norman rockwell limited to 50 images per day or 150 per week. But with so many images without source reference norman rockwell are in your course, then you're in trouble anyway:-)
The source of an image to find is probably the most important educational function of TinEye. But you can also use the site to find a better resolution than your original. Image Or to determine where an image that you have created is all ended.
Anyway, prevention is still better than cure. Try to use for images so that specialize in royalty-free photos. Many websites as possible Consider Pixabay the creative commons section of Flickr and / or morgueFile (morgue does not only morgue, norman rockwell but also archive!)
