Actually, gif maker please post the full address URL in the platform support forum along with your operating system version and 32 vs 64 bit, full install path, any antivirus or firewall gif maker running, etc: http://portableapps.com/forums/support/portableapps_menu
That's because that's not a real download URL. If you go to the AndreaMosaic Portable homepage , you'll see that it's downloads.portableapps.com, not portableapps.com as the server. And that gets redirected to download3.portableapps.com gif maker to serve the file.
The same happens in 4 different computers: 2 windows, gif maker 2 Linux
